Welcome to River Valley School District!

We are glad you’re here!  River Valley’s new student enrollment is completed via an online process.  We encourage families new to the River Valley area to register their child\children as soon as possible so that we can provide the best possible service.  

We are here to assist and support you throughout the enrollment process and have created a list of frequently asked questions to aide you with any questions that may arise with this process.  It is not necessary to make an appointment to register. However, if you or your family would benefit from the assistance of an interpreter, please contact us in advance so we can make arrangements for an interpreter to be available.

If you have a child that is currently attending a River Valley school or 4K at RVE, you do not need to register again.  Returning families will complete our Annual Student Information Update each July.

Please Note:  Submission of a registration form does not guarantee enrollment.  All applications must be approved prior to official enrollment.  Once approved you will receive confirmation of the application process and you must proceed with the next steps in the enrollment process.

River Valley New Student Online Enrollment

Any student seeking entrance into the River Valley School District must reside within the established boundaries of the district, except as otherwise allowed by state law.  View School Admissions Policy 420 here. – PDF Downlaod

Completed the online enrollment application using the New Student Enrollment link near the top of this page.  Additional documentation necessary for enrollment includes:
 

Proof of Residency presenting two (2) of the following:

• A signed current lease which includes the landlord’s name, address and phone number.

• Any of the following documentation mailed to the resident address and dated within forty-five (45) days prior to the registration date is accepted as proof of residency.

  • Auto or health insurance bill

  • Bank statement

  • Credit card statement

  • Driver’s license renewal notice

  • Food Share/ Quest benefit statement

  • License plate renewal notice

  • Medicare/ Medicaid/ Badgercare benefit statement

  • Paycheck stub

  • Utility bill; gas, electric, water/sewer, cable or landline telephone (no cellular statements)
     

Verification of Student’s Legal Name and Age (please present one (1) of the following):

• Birth Certificate

• Passport

Immunization Record if child’s immunizations occurred outside of Wisconsin.

The above mentioned documents can be uploaded during the enrollment application process or brought to your child’s school. Once registration is complete, please contact the school that your child will attend to schedule a tour and prepare your child’s schedule.
