Cost and Cost Savings
Students pay 1/2 of the UW-Richland tuition rate, and students must earn a "B" or better to receive
credit. For 2011-12, Academic Alliance 2.0 tuition is $93.81 per credit. These credits transfer to any
UW campus and to most public and private colleges throughout the country.
Currently, there are 32 River Valley students taking a total of 142 credits through this alliance. Total
savings of UW-R tuition for families in the River Valley School district is $13,321.02 for the 2011-12
school year. There is no added cost to the River Valley School District to offer this opportunity for our
students.
