HORROR UNIT               

       Short stories and poems by Edgar Allen Poe:

            Tell-Tale Heart
            Fall of the House of Usher
            Pit and the Pendulum

       We will also read The Monkey's Paw by Jacobs and House of
       Usher II by Ray Bradbury and compare it to Poe's
         

       To complete the unit we will look at Epitaphs and then the students
       will come up with one on their own.
