Tour Guides:

The responsibilities of the tour guide are as follows:

• Describe where your country is located in relation to the United States

  • include a map

  • might want to include best times to travel

• List the major cities that are found in your country

  • list populations also if available

  • state where these cities are located within the country

• Tell what currency(ies) are used by the country

  • state how much American money that would be

• Identify some products that are imported and exported from your country

• State what language(s) are spoken

  • list some words and their pronunciations (make sure they are appopriate to the classroom)

History Majors:

The responsibilities of the history major are as follows:

• Briefly describe the history of your country

• Describe historical sites to visit and historic monuments

• State some of the famous people that were born in your country

Decide in your group who will do which of the tasks shown above.
