The River Valley School District has a Regular Education Instructional Assistant position serving Spring Green Elementary school students in two second and third grade multi-age classrooms. Qualifications include high school diploma; ability to work with students with firmness, maturity, and consideration; ability to maintain effective working relationships with students, teachers, and the public; ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions; experience, ability, and willingness to work with and motivate children; emotional stability; good independent judgment skills; and excellent communication skills.

This position is a school year position for 7 hours per day. Per hour wage will be $11.23. The position will start August 27, 2008.

Position: Full-Time Middle School Language Arts Teacher
Position to begin August of 2008

Qualifications: Must hold or be eligible for Wisconsin certification #21-300, 108-334 or 158-334.

Position: 50% Position, Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse (AODA) Coordinator (Position to begin August of 2008)

Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work. Knowledge of AODA programming preferred.

The potential candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others. A solid background in the areas of education, group facilitation, and community outreach is preferred.
