The Board recognizes the public is entitled to full and complete information regarding the affairs of the Board as is compatible with the conduct and transaction of Board business.
Notice of all Board meetings shall be published in the Home News and posted in several locations throughout the district. Notice shall also be given to other news media upon request.
In accordance with state law, public notice shall be given at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting. When, for good cause, 24 hours notice is impossible or impractical, shorter notice may be given, but not less than two hours notice may be given in advance of the meeting.
The Board shall not discuss or act upon any item of business not included in the public notice, or amended public notice in the event of necessity, of a meeting.
