School library media centers shall exist in the River Valley School District to promote the intellectual, cultural, social and ethical, development of the student body and to enrich and support the educational programs of the schools.
Library media center personnel shall be responsible for maintaining comprehensive collections of books, periodicals, and audiovisual equipment and materials in accordance with Board policy and established procedures.
