An extracurricular activities program shall be offered to students in the schools in the district. Participation in extracurricular activities shall be in accordance with established school activity rules.
The administration shall provide for supervision of all extracurricular activities.
The Board shall provide access to and encourage full participation in extracurricular and recreational programs and activities by elementary and middle school students. For purposes of Board policy, “full participation” means fair and equal participation to the extent that the budget, facilities, or type of activity allows.
Students who violate school and/or activity rules shall be subject to disciplinary action.
The River Valley School District shall not discriminate in admission to any program or activity, enforcing standards and rules of behavior, taking disciplinary actions or permitting facilities usage. Discrimination complaints shall be processed in accordance with established procedures.
