The River Valley Board of Education shall recommend physical examinations for the following students:
a. Kindergarten students
b. All 7th grade students
c. All students enrolling in the River Valley School District for the first time, unless their school record contains evidence of a physical exam for kindergarten and 7th grade as required for other students.
d. Any student who receives a written request from the school nurse to see a doctor of his/her choice for a physical examination. In this case, the student will be asked to inform the nurse of the doctor who will be conducting the physical so that the nurse may be in contact with the doctor concerning the matter to be checked.
e. Any student participating on school-sponsored interscholastic athletic teams. Physical examinations shall be required every other year in accordance with Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletics Association (WIAA) regulations.
Student physical examinations shall be in accordance with the form provided by the River Valley School District. These forms shall be available in the administration office. Physical examinations shall be paid for by the student's parent(s)/guardian.
