Spousal co-workers (both spouses employed by the district) will be allowed to enroll in one family health and one family dental insurance plan. Enrollment is contingent upon at least one of the two spousal co-workers being eligible for the applicable benefit as set forth by the applicable collective bargaining agreement or board policy. The non-enrollee spouse will be considered a dependent under the enrollees plan.
Spousal co-workers will be allowed to enroll in two separate single health and dental insurance plans provided that the cost of the two (2) single plans together is less than the cost of one (1) family plan and is allowed by the insurer. Enrollment for single insurance is contingent upon both of the two spousal co-workers being eligible for the applicable benefit as set forth by the applicable collective bargaining agreement or board policy.
