To promote the health and safety of students, staff, and visitors to the schools and to promote the cleanliness of all facilities, the Board shall prohibit the use of all tobacco products on all premises owned or rented by, or under the control of, the school district and in all school vehicles by all persons at all times. Furthermore, this policy prohibits students from possessing tobacco products in all of the before-mentioned circumstances and/or locations cited above.
The administrative staff shall be responsible for informing students, staff and school visitors of this policy and of any actions that may be taken as a result of policy violations.
