The Board and staff of the River Valley School District welcome members of the community and other interested persons to visit the schools.
In order to ensure that such visits do not interfere with the educational process, all visitors will be asked to report to the school office when entering the building to receive authorization to visit elsewhere in the building. Visitors will sign a journal and be asked to wear a name badge while at the school. If necessary, visitors will be asked for formal identification.
Any unauthorized person on school property will be reported to the building principal/unit leader. The person may be asked to leave and, if circumstances warrant, the police may be called.
