Springtime weather means our playground is wet and a wet playground means our students are wet! In light of this wet and wonderful Spring weather, you may want to tuck an extra pair of socks and pants into your child’s book bag. Snow pants and boots are still required. Thanks for your help!

Family Fun Night

The pizza was delicious, and the three stations were a hit! Thank you to all the parents who came to our Family Fun Night! A good time was had by all! Another thank you to the PEP Club and the kitchen and staff members who helped make this night a success. It was a great night for the families of Plain Elementary to spend some time together in the middle of our record setting winter!

Your child is eligible for kindergarten enrollment if they will be five years old on or before September 1, 2008. It is very important that you call to enroll your child even if you have children who currently attend school in the district. Please call Sarah Schaller at Spring Green Elementary 588-2559 if you have not done so already.

Parent Orientation for fall kindergarten students will be held at the High School Little Theater on Thursday, April 3rd at 7PM. Registration materials will be distributed and explained, appointments will be made for the April 21st Screening/Registration day, and school officials will share information regarding health, transportation, and other educational issues. Please plan to attend.

Because we have had 5 Snow Days this school year our June calendar will be adjusted to the following:

Friday, June 13th = Last day for Students

Monday, June 16th = Last day for Support Staff

Tuesday, June 17th = Last day for Teachers

The PEP Club will be sponsoring a "Used Book Sale" during the May garage sale. All monies will go into the PEP Club general fund.

At this time we would like to start collecting new or slightly used children/adult books to sell. You may drop them off or have your child bring them to the school office. We are especially in need of Baby/Infant books.
