The school year is winding down and we have we have many fieldtrips and events planned. Please make note of the Calendar of Events!

Please be sure to mark your calendars, there will be a delayed start on May 7th, classes start at 10AM . No breakfast will be served.

We will be going to the Riverview Park & Waterworld on Wednesday, June 11th. Adult chaperones are welcome to join us on this trip. More information on this trip will follow in the coming weeks.

On Thursday, June 12th we will be walking to the Plain Village Park for a hotdog lunch and an afternoon of fun!

The last day of school for students will be Friday, June 13th. This will also be the Awards Ceremony for our 5th grade students. Ceremonies will begin at 9AM in the Gym.

Summer School will begin on July 7th and run through July 31st (Mon-Thurs from 8:30-11:30). You will be provided with more information if summer school is recommended for your child.

May and June are very busy with lots of activities. Please check the attached dates and remember to check backpacks often for notes and updates so you don’t miss any changes. Also returning permission slips timely is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Saturday, May 3rd will be the Village Wide Garage Sale from 8am-2pm. Maps will be available on Friday at Kwik Stop, Phils and Cenex. Please stop by Plain Elementary for the Used Book Sale, prices are $2 and under.

Pep Club will also be running the Brat Stand both Friday and Saturday. Money raised will be used for end of the year field trips and other classroom needs.

Plain Elementary would like to promote appropriate warm weather dress for our students. All clothing should cover undergarments and midriff area. Inappropriate clothing includes spaghetti strap tops for girls and muscle shirts for boys.

We have many items found throughout the year, please look for any missing items here at school or also the bus company.
