PEP Meeting

October 8, 2007

 Fall Fest

C                                 PEP will purchase the frosting and sprinkles

C                                 Sheryl Miller will get the money for the Coin Toss game

C                                 Lori Pulvermacher will order the juice through work

C                                 The kids treat will be cookies that they will decorate

C                                 James Radtke will be in charge of taking the food pantry items to Spring Green

C                                 The PEP group was wondering if the students should have some sort of a competition     along with bringing in food pantry items

C                                 Lori Straka will decide if and what the food pantry competition for the students will be

C                                 PEP will also give a money donation to the food pantry

C                                 Lori Pulvermacher borrowed some of the games but will be returning them soon

Fall Bazaar

C                                 Much of the proceeds will go to purchase new science equipment for the school

C                                 ad in the paper will have numbers to call (Jackie Jewell or Michelle Johanning) if you wish to be a vender.

C                                 Lori Pulvermacher will contact local radio stations to see if they will provide free advertising for this event

C                                 Banners advertising the bazaar will be put up on both sides of town two weeks before the event

C                                 flyers will be put up at local businesses

C                                 Exhibitors will be told to bring their own tables or to contact the PEP if they will be in need of some

C                                 The cost is $30.00 for a booth space

C                                 PEP will also sell food items for a luncheon

C                                 PEP will also run a bake sale and sell items individually wrapped and maybe also whole items

C                                 Workers will sign up and be needed for individual shifts between the hours of 9-2

C                                 A note will be sent home to parents that will state that the PEP club is looking for vendors, asking for bake goods and needing workers to sign up for this event

C                                 Books Are Fun may have a booth but will only be selling items such as recipe books so as to not take away book orders from the school book sale

C                                 Rada knife sale will also offer cash and carry items

C                                 Already have a rep at the bazaar selling Home Interior items

Other Items of Discussion

C                                 $150.00 was given to Lynn to be used to help purchase incentives for students that she is working with.

C                                 James stated that in April a hip hop group called the Figure Heads, that promote self confidence and self image, will be performing for the River Valley Elementary students at the Spring Green Elementary School.
