Classroom Objectives:
Students will:
- acquire intermediate word processing skills while practicing previously learned keyboarding skills.
- continue to build keyboarding speed and accuracy.
- learn how to manage a checkbook as well as learn the basics of credit.
- continue to utilize spreadsheet software.
- create documents using desktop publishing software.
- gain an awareness of advertising and how ti affects individuals in today's society.
- create a short video.
- continue to learn about Internet safety.
- demonstrate use of the scanner, digital camera, and Smart Board equipment/software.

Speed/Accuracy Percentages:
Students will take three two-minute timings at least six times during the twelve week class. Students are allowed three errors before reduction from speed. Below is the scoring rubric.
