The River Valley School District uses Time to Teach as our classroom management plan.  Here's how it will work in your child's classroom.  Each day, your child will start with their hot air balloon on a bright and sunny day.  If they choose to display an inappropriate behavior, their hot air balloon will float into a cloudy day (representing their 1st warning).  If they choose to display another inappropriate behavior, their hot air balloon will float into a storm (representing their 2nd warning).  If they choose to display yet another inappropriate behavior, their hot air balloon would "POP" and they will "refocus".  This will allow your child to think about the inappropriate behaviors they chose to display with an adult.
