Welcome to River Valley Middle School, my name is Joanne Finn and I will be your child's math teacher for the year.  I have been employed with River Valley since 1991.  I started in the district as a fifth grade teacher at Spring Green Elementary School, and switched positions in Fall of 2001 to become the Middle School 6th grade math teacher.  Along with teaching math I am the student council advisor.

        I live in Spring Green with my husband, John and our two daughters, Kelly and Colleen.  Both of our daughters are in college, one is attending UW-Whitewater and the other is attending UW-Milwaukee.  When I am not teaching I like to spend my free time reading, golfing, biking, gardening and knitting.   I was born and raised in Illinois and moved to Spring Green in 1990.  I attended Eastern Illinois and Elmhurst College for my teaching degrees.
