Everyday Mathematics

This year we have a updated version of Everyday Mathematics.  As we get into the program we use Home Links.  Home Links are very helpful to give the students extra practice at home and let you know what we are working on.  Ask  your child to explain it to you and if you don't understand something just let me know and I will help your child the next day.  The students will bring the Home Links home in a folder labeled Homework.   Please ask your child if they have one each night.  Home Links should only take five minutes or so to complete.   I truly appreciate the time you spend working with your child.

Time Tests

The students will be having daily time tests to practice math facts.  Each student will begin on the level they need work on.  We will start on addition and move to subtraction, multiplication, and division as the students master their facts.  The students enjoy the time tests as they compete at their own level.
