Research Project Information
You will need at least three sources for your research project, and one of them must be a book. The other two are your choice.
If you do use a website, you MUST use one of the sites below (or any from the library's website). If you choose to use a different site, then it must be approved by Mrs. Ring.
Wikipedia is NOT an acceptable website to use (anyone can edit the information). Please do not use search engines (Google, Yahoo, Ask Jeeves, etc.) to find your information either--unless you ask Mrs. Ring first.
Check out these interesting websites below!
http://inventors.about.com/library/bl/bl12.htm You can search by invention here.
http://www.factmonster.com/ipka/A0004638.html A good site, but not too much information.
http://smithsonianeducation.org/students/index.html This is the Smithsonian Education site.
http://spaceplace.nasa.gov/en/kids/ You can search science-related topics from this site by NASA.
http://www.ideafinder.com/ This has some inventor and invention information, but a lot of it is about how to get started on your own invention.
http://web.mit.edu/invent/ This site tells what is new with inventions as well as some history.
http://www.history.com/minisites/toys/ Do you have a topic that is a toy or game? If so, this is a good site to check out!
**Please remember that any website you wish to use (outside of this list and the list from the library's page) must be approved by Mrs. Ring.**
