In kindergarten we use the Everyday Math program. This program is designed to encourage the children to use an hands on approach to solving math problems. In my room we have a SAGE teacher that works with the children in a small group setting. We work on writing numbers, counting, shapes, money etc. The children play games to reinforce all those skills.
