Auto Technology 1 credit
Block Period 2 hrs
This course is a follow-up to the Transportation course. The units will include Auto Body Repair and Refinishing, Gas Engine Overhaul, Small Gas Engine Repair, Fluid Power Systems and Applications. and Automobile System Service and Maintenance. Students are encouraged to work on ownership of or access to an automobile, but this is not a requirement.
Students will be working in the lab on auto body repair and finishing. Students will be working on gas engine overhaul and small gas engine repair. Students will be working with tools and machines used in the Auto industry.
Students will be learning about the Auto Industry. Students will be working on cars in the lab to do both repair and finish work.
