Independent Auto Class

18 weeks
Students will be doing hands-on advanced
activities in the auto shop. Students will be working on individual projects with
cars. Students will be doing both repair and finishing work on automobiles and other
vehicles.
Students design advanced contracts in areas of
interest and specialization. The student agrees to provide all the labor, pay for
all materials, and do all the things necessary for the proper completion of the work.
Student agrees to be evaluated at regular
intervals throughout his or her contract. The class is designed to prepare students
for Tech. school in auto related careers and is a Tech Prep Program articulating with MATC
for Advanced Standing.
