The course prepares students for college courses by making demands upon them equivalent to those made by full-year introductory college courses. Students will learn to assess historical materials - their relevance and importance - and to weigh the evidence to arrive at conclusions based on informed judgements. Upon concluding this course students can take The College Board Exam and earn six credits toward a college degree.
