WORLD HISTORY: CREDIT:
1 DESCRIPTION: World History traces the development of civilization from the beginning of recorded history into the present 20th Century. Examples of materials studied included Prehistoric Man, Greek and Roman Cultures, African and Chinese Cultures, the Renaissance and Reformation, Revolution, Growth of Democracy, Nationalism and the growth of new nations to the build-up of the wars. This is a reading and lecture course that requires research projects for each nine-week period and is designed to assist students in preparing for a four year college or university. Films and slides are included to complement lecture material.
