- The Alternative Program students receive a traditional R.V.H.S. diploma.
- The student-to-teacher ratio shall exceed no more than 10:1 in academic classes.
- Students are held to high academic and behavior standards. Students who do not comply with the program requirements are exited.
- Students must turn in all class work at a "C" level or higher in order to receive credit. Students earn As, Bs, Cs, or no credit.
- The Alternative Program has a separate location with a safe and supportive environment.
- Each student in the program is respected as an individual with unique talents and gifts.
- There will be a focus on Life skills, personal growth and career development, throughout the program.
English, Social studies, and life skills in a block schedule.
