Hi, Welcome to Kindergarten
................. A New Family of Friends!
As a Kindergarten teacher I have the privilege of sharing this special year with you
and your family.
Kindergarten will be full day (8:05 to 3:20) beginning with the first day of school.
Parents do have the option of picking up their child at 1:00 the first week to help
him/her make the transition into this full day. However, we hope that most children
will attend all day by the second week of school.
The Kindergarten day includes a milk snack in the morning. Breakfast and hot
lunch can be purchased through the school lunch program. Students can also bring a
cold lunch from home and purchase milk to go with it. Information regarding the
costs will be listed in the August 'Back to School' issue of the Home News and will
be sent home with your child on the first day of school.
Kindergarten students will need to bring a few supply items the first day of school:
*KinderMat (Available locally at Nina's in Spring Green or
Wal-Mart)
*Bookbag large enough to hold a 10" x 13" storybook
*Adult-size T-Shirt for messy projects (an old one of yours
works well)
*Box of crackers to share at snack (graham, saltine, Ritz,
etc.)
PLEASE LABEL ALL ITEMS WITH YOUR CHILD'S NAME.
If you have questions regarding the bussing of your Kindergarten child please call the
bus service at 588-3020.
I am looking forward to helping your child begin this year of adventure. Welcome
to school!
Mrs. Sue Sadler
