Symbols & Elements
The periodic table lists the 116 elements. The sixth graders are required to memorize 28 of the elements and their elements. The students are encouraged to practice the S & E by making/using flashcards. There are a series of ten quizzes given every other day. When a student has mastered 3 perfect quizzes, the student no longer needs to continue taking the remaining quizzes. ALL students are expected to master these symbols and elements.
