Assignment Binder: Your child will be using an assignment binder this year. It will usually be brought home daily. Please look it over to see if they have any homework that is due the next day. There are plastic sleeves for the subject areas and one for parent notes. The binder needs to be returned to school each day. This replaces the Homework Folder.
Assignment Notebook: The students will also use an assignment notebook this year. The students will write down the assignments they are working on and when they are due. (Most will be due the next day) Look this over each evening to make sure students have required assignments completed for the next day. There is a box at the bottom for parent/teacher comments. This is returned each day.
Friday Folder: This folder is sent home at the end of each week. It has important messages from school as well as corrected assignments from the week. Please look the papers over. There may be notes from me written at the bottom. They will indicate if the work needs to be corrected and returned or if your child needs additional practice at home on a particular skill.
