President Anderson opened the meeting. He noted that the meeting had been properly noticed and notice had been provided to the appropriate media and each School Board Member. Pitts moved to proceed with the legal meeting. Caraway seconded. Motion carried.
The Board and Administration discussed district goals to include specific objectives and related action plans. It was noted that the process of establishing, implementing, and evaluating goals is an ongoing process to guide short and long term planning. Additionally, the goals process is related to the Superintendents evaluation. The eight broad goal areas are staffing, management issues, assessment, professional development, curriculum, climate/culture, improve special services, and technology. Goals will be discussed at the December 12 Board meeting and a final document will then be available at the district central office.
Consideration & Action on Resolution to Authorize Financial Transactions Related
to Student Scholarship
Limmex moved to adopt the resolution to establish a financial account with Ziegler Financial Group for the purpose of establishing the McCarville scholarship for graduating seniors and that the superintendent will serve as an agent between the district and Ziegler Financial Group. Pitts seconded. Polled vote was 7-0 in the affirmative with 2 absent. Motion carried.
Consideration & Action to Adjourn to Closed Session Pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes
19.85(1)(c) for a Level V Grievance Update
Limmex moved to adjourn to closed session at 8:56 p.m. pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes 19.85(1)(c) for a Level V Grievance Update. Peach seconded. Polled vote was 7-0 in the affirmative with 2 absent. Motion carried.
