Youth Risk Behavior Survey
Every other year, River Valley High School participates in the Wisconsin Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) sponsored by UW-Extension, CESA #3 and the Department of Public Instruction. The survey will assess the health behaviors of high school students, including: tobacco use, alcohol and other drug use, dietary behavior, sexual behaviors and physical activity. The survey results are particularly helpful for the pupil services staff to assess the needs of the River Valley student body and provide appropriate services.
Students take the survey by completing a computer-based questionnaire which takes about 30 minutes to complete. The survey is taken during the school day and is voluntary. If you have questions, please contact the counseling department. Please see the links below for Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and the actual survey that students take.
